Roses

Roses

Roses bloom as Seasons turn,
and help to break the hearts that yearn,
for love that comes from out the blue,
to smite the hapless through and thro.

And yet we must remember now,
that under leaves and petals thou,
will find the prickly thorns to draw,
blood from grasping fingers, raw.

And so the Moral of this Tale,
so you do not unexpected wail.
Is to look beyond the package frail,
and see what's real, and not all Sale.
